This year NEBC will celebrate 25 years of supporting the environmental industry throughout the Northwest. Quite a milestone for any organization. For those members – individuals and firms – that have supported our mission…thank you!
As a membership‐based trade association that hosts countless in-person meetings of various sizes and types, we have profoundly felt the impact of the pandemic. Since its beginning in 1996, there has been a strong affinity for the unique position NEBC holds in the environmental community. NEBC is known as the convener of the environmental industry here in the Northwest and we pride ourselves on our ability to deliver value by connecting members to clients, regulators, resources, and each other. One additional way to support NEBC this year is the Resiliency Challenge. NEBC’s board of directors established the Resiliency Challenge to raise $100,000 to help support and sustain NEBC through these trying times AND celebrate our 25 year anniversary.

How can you join others supporting the Resiliency Challenge?
Simple. Make a one-time contribution (as an individual or firm). Those members that increase their financial sponsorship investment with NEBC above last year will automatically be added to those supporters of the Resiliency Challenge.
Members are invited – individuals and companies – to contribute to the “Resiliency Challenge.” (Please note as a 501‐C6 organization, contributions are not recognized as a charitable contribution, therefore receive no tax deduction. However, contributions may be recognized as a business expense.)
- Make a one‐time donation
- Contribute throughout the year through monthly giving
- Expand your NEBC membership to the Sponsoring Member level (additional $2,450 over base dues)
- Increase your event sponsorships in 2021
Suggested contribution levels:
- Up to $499 (Bronze)
- $500 – $999 (Silver)
- $1,000 – 2,499 (Gold)
- $2,500 – 4,999 (Platinum)
- $5,000 or more (Sustaining)
Be recognized
We will recognize our Resilience Challenge “partners” throughout the year and beyond. Recognition will be made on our website, in our regular e‐newsletter, during every NEBC event, and much more.
How will the funds be used?
The NEBC board of directors will direct these funds for operational expenses. Funds not immediately needed will be set aside for cash reserves to ensure that NEBC is well-positioned to continue its mission representing northwest businesses working to protect, restore, and sustain the natural and built environment. Join the NEBC board of directors, members, and industry leaders as a contributor to the Resilience Challenge. For more information, please contact NEBC Executive Director Gregg Mindt (gregg@nebc.org or 503‐703‐2100).
