New Principal Engineers:

Multidiscipline consulting firm Maul Foster & Alongi (MFA) is proud to announce the promotion of two staff members. Ada Banasik and Erik Bakkom have been named principal, recognizing their outstanding commitment to delivering excellence for MFA’s clients.

Ada Banasik

Ada Banasik, PE, has a wealth of expertise in stormwater and wastewater management, environmental compliance, and construction management. She works with industries in the Pacific Northwest to develop adaptive management and innovative solutions to challenging environmental regulations, permit requirements, and liabilities. For the past 15 years, Ada has led MFA’s industrial stormwater team and helped industries ranging from lumber mills to metal recyclers comply with ever-changing discharge permits through innovative stormwater treatment facility designs.

Erik Bakkom

Erik Bakkom, PE, has developed specialized expertise in the design and management of complex projects in his 21 years of experience (15 years with MFA). He has successfully led sediment remediation, brownfield/industrial site cleanup and redevelopment, and solid waste planning and facility design throughout the Pacific Northwest.
