The Changing Face of Surface Water Planning and Resiliency
Description:
Climate change has threatened coastal infrastructure and drinking water supplies globally. Communities, regulators, and industry can examine and mitigate these impacts through the lens of resiliency. Coastal infrastructure planning can draw from detailed data analyses and leverage appropriate and feasible technical approaches. Drinking water source protection planning may be expanded to consider droughts, reduced snowpack, floods, wildfires, and harmful algal blooms.
