Oregon DEQ on Compliance & Enforcement During COVID-19
Join us for a conversation with the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) staff as they provide clarity and insight in the areas of permits, inspections, and enforcement. Your questions during this virtual session are encouraged.
PRESENTERS:
Nina DeConcini, NW Region Administrator, Oregon DEQ
Currently, Nina oversees the implementation of all state and federally delegated environmental programs in the NW corner of the state which includes the Portland Metropolitan area and Oregon’s north coast. Prior to her work in Oregon, she held environmental compliance positions at The Walt Disney Company in Burbank, CA, in local government for the City of Burbank, CA, and at a transportation authority in Phoenix, AZ. She is also the current Board Chair of SOLVE, an Oregon grown, 50-year old non-profit dedicated to bringing Oregonians together as volunteers to improve the environment statewide.
Kieran O’Donnell, Manager of the Office of Compliance and Enforcement, Oregon DEQ
In this role Kieran oversees DEQ’s statewide enforcement program, issuing orders and assessing civil penalties for violations of Oregon environmental law.
